Is there a chance to update the “upgrade-guide-manual-installation” or is the 6.0 upgrade instructions same with 7.0?

I’ve been using OpenProject from 2 years and I would love to upgrade to the 7.0 version. However, my installation is on RedHat 6.8 Server and it seems the new versions only runs on redhat/centOs 7 or newer.

It could be possible to update my 6.1.4 installation to 7 on a RedHat 6.8 server?

    Thanks in advance,

    1. Robin Wagner says:

I’ve been using Openproject 6-version(manual installation from git hub) for three years in centos6 and I would like to upgrade to OP7 in centos7. Since OP7 supports in centos7, so I have to do a clean and fresh installation of centos7 and OP7 using rpm installer. Can you please let me know from which folders I should copy the entire data and attachments from existing OP6 to OP7 so that it is fully operational without any prone to errors?

I am also using postgresql database in OP6 and will it be possible to migrate all the databases to mysql in OP7?

    Thanks in advance,
