OpenProject is a very powerful application. We want to help you getting started easily. This training brings you up to speed, so you and your team can be productive from day one.
The training covers the main functionalities and basic navigation concepts in OpenProject. This makes it much easier for new users to get started. Training material will be distributed after the training.
Duration and pricing
All Getting started trainings are conducted remotely via web-conference.
- The price for the Getting started training is 500€ for 1.5 hours. It includes up to 15 participants.
- Additional option: Video recording of training (+ 100€).

System admin training
Customizing your OpenProject application
As a System Administrator you have many possibilities to set up and configure your OpenProject. Therefore, it is critically important to understand and properly set up your application.
Customization options include for instance the proper project structure (hierarchy), roles and permission, work package types, custom fields, statuses, and workflows. Furthermore, the transfer of company internal processes to the OpenProject logic can be analyzed and implemented. Training material will be distributed after the training.

- The price for the Admin training is 500€ for 1.5 hours. It includes up to 5 participants.

Outline of the training session
- Safely exchange access data for OpenProject instance (for configuration)
- Analyze and implement a configuration which reflects your organization‘s processes:
- Set up transparent, logical project structure
- Define roles and permissions which reflect your organization‘s structure
- Agree on modules that will be used in your organization
- Create and update work package types
- Set up and configure work package statuses and priorities
- Specify and implement workflows
- Configure more individual requirements, e.g. custom fields, activities, and much more

Custom training
Custom trainings based on individual requirements and train-the-trainer
For users who are already familiar with OpenProject and want to become intimately familiar with advanced aspects and best practices, we offer a custom train-the-trainer training which covers OpenProject in detail.
The training covers user aspects as well as the proper configuration of OpenProject. Furthermore, training sessions for project teams can be offered based on individual training needs. Individual training material will be created and distributed after the training.

A one day custom training/train-the-trainer will be conducted based on individual needs.
- The price for the custom training/train-the trainer is 5000€ for 8 hours. It includes up to 25 participants.

Get an in-depth understanding of OpenProject
For users who are interested in specific OpenProject topics, i.e. best-practices, change management, introduction and adoption of the software within the organization, or other specific questions, we offer individual consulting.
We also offer API consultation, e.g. support when using the OpenProject API, or consulting regarding development, installation or maintenance of the application.
Duration and pricing
Consulting service will be conducted remotely via web-conference based on individual needs.
- The price for consulting is 300€ / hour.
