With OpenProject 17.9, we are making another useful feature available to everyone: Date alerts are now part of the free OpenProject Community edition. 🎉
Date alerts were introduced with OpenProject 12.4 as an Enterprise add-on. Almost four years later, we are happy to make them available to the whole OpenProject Community.

Stay on top of important dates
Your project is moving forward, but so are the dates. A work package is due next week. Another should have started yesterday. And one task has quietly been overdue for several days. You could keep checking dates manually – or let OpenProject remind you when your attention is needed.
Date alerts notify you about approaching start and finish dates as well as overdue work packages. You can customize which date alerts you want to receive and when you want to be notified:

Tipp
Did you know that you can also configure date alerts for individual projects? Project-specific notification settings let you fine-tune your alerts depending on the needs of each project. With OpenProject 17.9, Community users can also use date alerts in project-specific notification settings.

OpenProject is free and open source software, and continuously strengthening our Community edition is an important part of how we develop OpenProject.
